How does it work?
In the past, brakes had to be manually inspected for any issues. If drivers detected wear in their brakes, they would need to have them looked at by a professional to determine whether there was a problem. Now, brake sensors remove the need for regular inspection. Instead, drivers simply have to pay attention to when their dashboard light turns on. Brake sensors are located in close proximity to the brake pads, and once they are triggered, they have to be replaced.
