Big Brake Kit

Maximizing brake performance to the highest level.

A Big Brake Kit is the solution to getting more stopping power when your current brakes just isn’t enough.

Why a Big Brake Kit

Why a Big Brake Kit?

Supercharge your car with our Big Brake Kit, which boosts both the look and performance of your vehicle. When you upgrade your car's stock parts for efficiency and speed, you need a more powerful braking system where all the components work together to help you stop quickly without straining your system.

Brake Calipers

The brake caliper is the driving force behind your brake system (or rather, the stopping force). Calipers press the brake pads against the rotors to slow your wheels. If your calipers and rotors are not big enough, it will take longer for your vehicle to stop. Our calipers grip intensely for the fastest possible stop from high-speed driving.

Brake Pads and Brake Rotors

Brake Pads and Brake Rotors

Larger, more powerful brake pads perform better in all weather conditions. The more powerful brake rotors withstand the pressure without overheating, so they last longer and contribute less wear and tear to the overall system.

Color Mix and Match

Color Mix and Match

Mix and match your caliper and rotor from 33 different color combinations in both anodized and painted finish. We also offer raw finish with clear coat.

Big and Powerful

Our Big Brake Kits are big and powerful. The bolt-on design makes for easy installation, although stock wheels may not be large enough to accommodate these brakes (bigger wheels or spacers maybe required). You may request a template to confirm fitment of your wheels. R1 Concepts is not liable for wheel fitment.

Rotor Features

Manufactured with High Carbon, these rotors offer increased braking performance and strength. A center split core casting provides greater stability. Mill balancing and double disc grinding reduces thickness variations for smoother stopping, minimal vibration and improved break-in. Directional Vanes for improved cooling preventing warping. Aluminum hat for lighter weight and replaceable rotor ring for lower cost replacement.

Different Performance Options

3 Different Performance Options

Cross-Drilled and Diamond Slotted

Cross-Drilled and Diamond Slotted combine the best technologies for the longest lasting, highest performance rotors available.

Diamond Slotted Only

Diamond Slotted rotors offer more benefits than round slotted rotors. It removes more debris that helps extend the life of the rotor and pads while also reducing glazing. The diamond tips also work as a wear indicator. When the tips are gone, rotor replacement is necessary.

Cross-Drilled Only

Cross-Drilled rotors are less prone to warping as cross-drilling increases air circulation and reduces heat buildup by up to 105° F. Chamfering reduces the possibility of rotor cracking.
